Does our education fit our needs? Has ‘normal’ actually worked for anybody? These are just two of the questions raised in our recent event Education Now: Creating the New Normal. Facilitated by Education Futures’ director, Professor Deborah Corrigan, this event featured insightful presentations from Monash Education’s dean, Professor Viv Ellis, senior deputy dean, Professor Lucas Walsh, Education Futures researcher Assoc. Professor Ruth Jeanes, and Brunswick Secondary College teacher, Mr Steven Kolber, plus lively chat from 250 online attendees.
You can now watch the recording of Education Now: Creating the New Normal here.
Our next public online event on Wednesday, 19 August is part of the Let’s Talk STEM series and is titled ‘Shining the Spotlight on the Future of STEM Education’.
